Hello World! And that is the cheesiest yet most stereotypical way I could start a blog. I am a programmer, originally from Brazil, and current student at UC Berkeley studying computer science. Many people say you fake-it-till-you-make-it, but
I honestly believe in perseverance to achieve what you want. My first time around in college I dropped out junior year to start a start-up, which unfortunately failed. My lack of business knowledge, finance management, the start-up industry in general pushed me to focus on all the wrong things and my start-up to meet it's anticipated end. Still, this pushed me to dedication towards programming and technology which lead to my move to San Francisco, my software developer job at Autodesk and later my acceptance into UC Berkeley.
So here I am! In this challenge lab I'd love to find a patent on software I could actually use right now and mold towards an awesome, useful, and financially stable start-up. More realistically and tangential to my skills, I'd like to build a MVP using the patented software.
Hi Stephanie, I am a freshman currently Undeclared in L&S. You seem like a really motivated individual, bouncing back up from a failed start-up experience to pursue your dreams and goals. Anyways, I am interested in Biotech (Though not an expert in Biology) that would have probably have some CS involvement. Would love to know you better and what ideas you have in mind.
